Race-is full of suspense thriller that no one can imagine that what happen till last but for relationship it is too bad bcoz nobody can trust on eachother after seeing film. in this movie relationship demolished when brother thought to kill his brother for money as for him money is evreything but no bloodrelation.As a whole film is not to good not to bad.

Hi there
Years ago I read somewhere ‘When a human being stops learning, he can be considered dead’. I think the analogy applies to moviemakers too. When a director does not continue to learn what the audiences want - well then consider him/her dead. I thought Ajnabee was far from reality but definitely an entertainer and it worked with the then audiences. So if a movie where one couple was dodgy could become a big hit, a movie with both couples dodgy would be a bigger hit! Wrong answer soldier(s)! I watched this movie a couple of weeks ago and boy did I repent. Less than a week ago, I saw Shobha De speaking about the Lakme Fashion show and about the movie RACE (NDTV) and she made a very interesting and true statement - “A movie with everyone so low in ethics - If this is what we think modern India has become - then God help India”. How many of you out there honestly think that you would not be able to make this movie if you were given the right budget and some training may be? This was so easy for Abbas Mustan - you craft just the core plot called ‘ditch anyone for money’ and off you go.. make everyone bad, look back, count the number of twists, not enough, make the so called good character also a devious even more cunning individual, and so on. Job done! And guess what - with the right casting you can be guaranteed you’ll make money.
As far as the visuals are concerned - I don’t think we could call that an achievement anymore.. with the right wallet, every director seems to be quite successful in producing good visuals. In fact there are some directors like Sanjay Neela Bhansali (yes the ‘N’eela was intended) who make one good movie like Khamoshi and live the rest of their lives on just exorbitant sets. Sorry I went off in a different tangent there.

So what am I saying - I just despised the movie!

Hee. I found most of it pretty flawed too, and the components didn’t quite add up. I guess I was somewhat reasonably entertained; I think I only looked at my watch twice during …. Except for having female characters who DO something and a few glimmers of fun from Saif and Akshaye, this was overall dull for me. What a waste of potential!
