You are right, Anurag, it is indeed Himachal Pradesh. Slip of the mind - aplogies…and thanks for pointing it out.

Well, I wouldn’t compare ‘Masoom’ with ‘the blue umbrella’ because in the latter the subject matter could very well be enjoyed by kids too.

Its a great movie… Pankaj Kapur is simply brilliant.. We do not get to see such fine acting these days.. just downloaded the movie from http://www.indyaondemand.com.. thanks to such sites, we expats atl east don’t miss such good movies..

Like ‘Masoom’, ‘The Blue Umbrella’ appears to be a movie featuring the kids but not having kids as its target audience.

I haven’t seen the movie, but from the promo on air and from the fact that the story is by the Kasauli-based Ruskin Bond, I think the setting of the story might be in Himachal Pradesh and not Haryana. Should this movie therefore enthuse the Tourism department of Haryana or Himachal Pradesh?
